It’s good to be home!

The Los Angeles Actors Seminar and Showcase will be held on Sunday, September 12th from 9am - 5:00pm. Check-in will begin at 8:15am.

Actors are to prepare a one-minute monologue or a two-minute scene with another registered attendee. Top finalists will perform twice, reading for all industry guests.

Models should prepare a commercial copy and bring their modeling book
Attendees receive written evaluations from the industry panel
Prizes will be awarded for the best performances
Top 10 performances will be taped
Actors under the age of 18 may bring one parent at no cost.
Attendees must be at least six years old and above.

I want to thank you for this awesome experience this past weekend at Hollywood Across America. It was a pleasure and an honor to perform for you and the industry heavyweights. I enjoyed the workshops with April Webster, Marni Saitta, and Lisa Beach. They are very helpful and informative with their vast knowledge of the industry. I especially enjoyed reading the sides in the various workshops receiving that one on one help from some of the best in the business and getting their feedback which prepares you for going out and getting that job in auditions. What I really enjoyed was the Sunday showcase. It was awesome being able to take everything that I learned the day before and combining it with my performance was exciting. I would recommend that anyone that is trying to break into the business should attend Hollywood Across America because it prepares an actor for what you need to know about the industry along with giving you great exposure to industry executives. What is really cool about it is that the biggest names in the industry took time out of their busy schedule to come all the way to Texas to recruit talent and that is a major bonus. It is just an awesome experience! I would recommend it to anybody. Thanks again to you Jason and the entire Hollywood Across America Staff and Judges it was a great experience that I will never forget.
