I wanted you to know that of the many events and seminars that my 12-year-old son has attended in the 4 years he has been an aspiring actor, your Seminar/Event was by leaps and bounds the most professional and well organized event we have ever attended.
In addition to the diamond-studded line up of Casting Directors flown in from Los Angeles, the Agents and Managers who also were present currently represent many of Hollywood's biggest movie stars. This was an invaluable experience for my son who was awe inspired by the people he was privileged to audition in front of. I candidly would have been willing to pay double for the opportunity to meet, let alone have him make a presentation and receive constructive advice from the top players in Hollywood. What is even better is that you get to perform and receive feedback that will guide and make you aware of the things you may need to work on. This was our first year to HAA and my daughter and I both had a great time, learned so much and made new friends!  The professionals she got to work with; we just can't say enough good things about them all. I also enjoyed the question and answer sessions, along with all of the classes my daughter attended. Bravo to you for the fantastic line-up.  We will definitely be back, whether in Dallas or Austin!  (We are from Houston; maybe consider our great city in the future?)

We want to thank you, once again, for putting on a professional, fun, learning experience, for both my daughter and I.  I will have to say that when her agent, A+ Actors of Texas, suggested this to us, the cost for the total weekend had me immediately saying, "We can't go".  I lost my job in the oil and gas business 2 years ago.  We have one income and 5 people living in our house, one of whom is in college.  However, acting is my daughter's dream and after investigating further, talking to friends that had attended last year, I decided to pull the money from savings and bring her.  I will never regret my decision.  Thank you so much.  Katie Merricks

I was worried that Hollywood Across America would have been like some of the other big “showcases”, that charge the attendees thousands in the end for useless classes with bogus instructors and expensive headshots, sucking you into a whirlwind of untruthfulness and misleading lies. I was skeptical at first to recommend to my students, but after checking it out and finding out our local SAG agents would be attending, I felt more reassured this could be the “real deal” as they stated it would. It proved to be a very positive and truthful experience. The casting directors and agents listed did show and were very friendly, honest and approachable. They gave valuable critiques and useful information.  It was all conducted very professionally. I think you did an excellent job and I look forward to attending the next one!... (Parents) felt they received a lot of information all in one place and felt they made valuable connections. We also very much appreciated the great hotel discounts! This entire event was very well organized! So, overall, this was an extremely valuable experience and we did feel we got our money’s worth and would highly recommend anyone wanting to learn the “biz”... attend Hollywood Across America! Dear Hollywood Across America, I just wanted to let you know how much fun my seven-year-old son had at your Dallas event.  He began an acting class two months before the event. We had very little experience and zero expectations going into that weekend.  Since then we have had to do head shots, a resume and he is now represented by one of the premier agencies in Houston all based on his Hollywood Across America performance! I wish there was a better word than "AWESOME!" to describe my experience at this workshop!  To have the opportunity to meet top LA casting directors in such a relaxed environment was beyond description.  After the first day, I will admit, that I was wondering if I was pursuing an unrealistic goal.  Based off the critiques from some of the casting directors, I realized I wasn’t nearly as good an actress as I thought I was and maybe I should just forget my dream.  But then I took a few deep breaths and reminded myself why I went to the workshop in the first place.  I was there to learn and if I didn’t toughen up my ‘thin skin’, as well as open up my mind to their comments, I would never become the actress I want to be.  They were there to help me, not discourage me.  And for that, I can’t thank them, and you, enough!   I have been raving about this workshop to numerous actors, as well as my agent, and I assure you, when you are back in Dallas, I will be the first to sign up!    Tamara Michel-Frewen
